Who would have thought that I will be loving Korean dishes so much that I’m always craving for it nowadays?
Thanks to GO Kizip! My first Korean Restaurant experience turned out really good and totally vanquished my negative perception about their food. The culprit? Kimchi.. hehehe Whenever we think about Korean food, kimchi would be the first thing that will come to our minds. And let’s face it, not everyone would like the taste and smell of it for the first time. And that my friends was the reason why I kept my distance from going into Korean Restaurants.
Only until this year that I stepped my foot inside a Korean Resto. Thanks so much to my cousins who left me with no choice. So off we go to Go Kizip Malate. By the way, don’t trust google map’s navigation, it will bring you to Quirino Ave. Yes, we got lost.hehehe And to think that it is only a few blocks from where I work.tsk tsk tsk
Go Kizip Malate looks small from the outside but is quite large when you go inside. It smells clean too. My brother ordered Samgyeopsal (pork belly meat) P300/order. Kimchi Stew with Rice (Kimchi Jji Gae) P300, and Spam Kimchi Fried Rice P350. Good thing they have spam since Aaron was with us.
Another thing that I like about Go Kizip is that they serve a variety of banchan (side dish). I don’t even know what each of them are called but I love love their side dishes . Well, I haven’t tried a lot of korean restaurant, so far until this day Go Kizip ( Malate) still has my vote. We also tried their Timog branch but we still prefer the Malate branch because of more side dish options and free coffee! ;-D
