Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids this weekend? How about something educational as well? Then I suggest you go visit Museo Pambata.
It was my first time visiting Museo Pambata and honestly, I was surprised. hehe And Yes, despite the fact that I already googled and read blogs about it, I was still amazed at the interactive displays and info graphics inside the museum. Another plus is that the entrance fee is only P150/pax. Lucky you if your from Manila, just present a valid ID with your address and enjoy free passes during Tuesday. 50% discount on other days.
Museo Pambata is divided into 8 theme rooms but we only saw 6 : Kalikasan, Old Manila, Career Options,I love my Planet Earth, My Body Works and Pamilihang Bayan. We were not able to see the Global Village and Karapatan Hall because of an event during our visit.
Aaron likes the Body Works and Pamilihang Bayan the most. We spent most of our time here. He really enjoyed going through the small stores and the fire truck with matching costumes.
We were lucky enough that there was no big group tour scheduled during our visit. Aaron was able to play with all the available displays. We decided to leave when a bigger group of students came. We spent a few more minutes outside in the playground where the main attraction is the helicopter. We spent almost 2 hours inside the museum and another 15 minutes outside in the playground.
Definitely, an interesting museum not just for kids but for adults as well.
